Developing Your Stories This is a 6 evening workshop series that provides an opportunity to explore your current experiences, challenges and dreams as they relate to the theme of "mother" through drawing/art, movement, and creative writing. Our goal will be to develop a personal story into a monologue or piece for a final group sharing. The process alone can be insightful and rejuvenating. The tools of drawing, movement, creative writing and reflection, become roadmaps for allowing a more embodied understanding of your work. The stories may be funny, vulnerable, ordinary, and others of challenging moments. The art and imagery have the possibility to bring poignancy and beauty to all our experiences. Even among the diversity of our unique personal experiences, the stories can hold universal themes, connecting us and creating bridges to others. You will gain tools to support your emotional, mental and physical well-being, along with an opportunity to broaden and strengthen your community. In a final group sharing, you will choose one medium or a variety in the telling of your story. Once you have taken a retreat or workshop series, you receive a 10% discount for any additional programs in which you enroll. Go to workshop dates for information on location, dates, time and additional logistics. | ||
